I believe there are many old soul leaders here on Earth right now who came here to try to take us in a better direction before it’s too late. If you’re here reading this, you’re probably one of them, too, even if you don’t think of yourself that way. Almost all my clients are old soul leaders disguised as successful founders, entrepreneurs, artists and other innovators, who feel a calling in their soul to contribute to a better shared reality.
As Rumi wrote: “If you are irritated by every rub, how will your mirror be polished?”
But, honestly, and no offence meant to Rumi, I think it’s human to feel irritated by this process. Let’s be real. It’s not fun being sanded, shaped and polished. It’s not fun facing all our fears and pain and parts of us we don’t yet know how to meet with love.
If you’re afraid to tap into your passion, you’ll never tap into your genius. And if you’re expressing passion from a place of anger and fear, you’ll never tap into your genius. So how do you use passion to tap into your genius?
Most people, when they set out to create their business, try to monetize their passion. Or, worse, they try to figure out what other people want and need, and give it to them.
